Winter Nature Walk
Many people have the misconception that nature takes a break when it is cold. However, there is a lot to see if you know where to look! On Sunday, January 26th, the community was invited to give it a try. About 10 people attended the Winter Nature Walk, led by Haley Briel. Along the way, they found a host of interesting critters able to survive even in the coldest part of the year. to discover bark beetle tunnels, millipedes, hawks, mud dauber nests, and a host of winter plants! The hike made for both a fun and informative afternoon.
